We've all heard the saying "I got up on the wrong side of the bed," but what about those, every night, who are unable to catch even a few zzz's? What side of the bed do the sleepless Americans rise on? Tough to answer, but studies show, somehow they still got up on the "wrong side of the bed."

Research has shown that sleep is more important than once thought, and also a fun way to spend an afternoon (and burn calories!) But for some reason, millions of women on a nightly basis are unable to get enough sleep for their tiny women bodies. Most are baffled by this phenomenon, but if I could give a word of advice? Ladies. Just sleep. Whatever it is keeping you up at night (and at the moment I can't possibly fathom one thing more important than sleep), it can wait 10, 12, 14 hours so you can get your precious beauty sleep and are actually able to function. Stop being cranky. Get sleep. Get stuff done. Stop complaining about being tired, by just going to sleep. There! I solved it.

Scientists have done it again and given us an important study that has helped change and save lives. Now if only women will read this article and go back to sleep!
